Dear Jewish community of Ukraine!

Please accept my sincere Hanukkah greetings.

In honor of this great holiday, millions of Jews light the lights of the Hanukkah menorah. It is a symbol of spiritual stability and reminds us of the victory of a brave people over evil and injustice. This holiday testifies to a miracle and teaches never to despair.

We are once again convinced that nothing can overcome the desire of the people to be free while preserving their spiritual and national identity.

Thank you to everyone who helps us get through this difficult time of the war, due to which many families lost their homes, relatives and loved ones. We sincerely hope that peace and tranquility will be closer both for our country and for all countries where the war is currently going on.

On these festive days, I wish Jewish families peace, joy and a generous fate.

Let Chanukiya burn in every home, give strength and fill with new hopes, strengthen faith in the indomitable power of truth and justice.

Volodymyr ZELENSKY
