A meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev took place in Davos.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy once again expressed his condolences to Ilham Aliyev and the entire people of Azerbaijan in connection with the crash of the “Azerbaijan Airlines” plane and the loss of life. The evidence from the scene of the tragedy is clear, it is important to put pressure on Russia to make it tell the truth.

The President of Azerbaijan spoke about the progress of the investigation, in particular about the circumstances that have already been established.

One of the key topics of the meeting is bilateral relations and their development in the future, in particular, the future increase in trade between the states, as well as cooperation in the energy sector.

Separately, Volodymyr Zelenskyi noted the humanitarian aid to Ukraine, in particular the support of the Ukrainian energy industry, the implementation of the program for the rehabilitation of children who suffered as a result of Russian aggression, as well as assistance with humanitarian demining.

In addition, Azerbaijani companies participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine and implement investment projects. Our state appreciates the willingness to continue them.
