The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held a meeting with representatives of the Council on Business Support in Martial Law.

The event was attended by owners and managers of the largest Ukrainian companies operating in the fields of pharmaceuticals, logistics, agro-industry, energy, telecommunications, services, financial and banking, as well as enterprises of the defense industry.

The head of state thanked those present for keeping the enterprises and continuing to work in Ukraine.

“Certainly, saving jobs is not just an abstract thing for us. This makes it possible to survive in this war. And again, this is not for the sake of eloquence, but because I understand: only motivated people can achieve peace in Ukraine,” the President emphasized.

Separately, Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the state is doing everything possible to strengthen air defense and bring a fair and lasting peace to Ukraine.

During the meeting, a number of specific issues related to various directions were discussed. In particular, it was about the continuation of the “Made in Ukraine” economic platform. Businessmen noted the effect of the implementation of this initiative and suggested expanding it to the security and defense sector.

According to the Head of State, the issues raised and the proposals voiced will be processed by the relevant state departments.
