The mark of the first hundred units of missile weapons this year has been crossed – address of the President

Currently, more than 800 companies are working on the production of weapons for our Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine. Now, for the first time in more than 30 years of independence, we have not just single investment steps of partners in Ukraine, but system models for investing.”, — write: www.president.gov.ua

I wish you good health, dear Ukrainians!

Today I already held several meetings on defense topics.

The first is our special production, our strategic industries, our weapons. There was a report by Oleksandr Kamyshin. This year, we were able to achieve significant results in several areas. This is also our Ukrainian artillery – our shells, our guns. These are also drones – of various types, for various tasks – which not only help the front to defend positions and destroy the occupier, but also strike Russia at greater and greater depth. We will increase it. We crossed the mark of the first hundred units of missile weapons this year. There are no details here, but I want to thank each and every one who is involved in this production of ours, who organizes the relevant processes. And we will increase this direction. Currently, more than 800 companies are working on the production of weapons for our Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine. Now, for the first time in more than 30 years of independence, we have not just single investment steps of partners in Ukraine, but system models for investing. In particular, this is the model of Denmark, the Danish model that invests and attracts investments in production. We also agreed with France on a slightly different model – with the involvement of technologies and the construction of appropriate factories. There are also preliminary agreements with our other partners on the localization of weapons production in Ukraine. And this is what will constantly strengthen us.

The second for today is the report of the military and the Ministry of Defense. Chief Commissar Syrskyi, Chief of the General Staff Barhylevych, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Umerov. Most of the attention now is in the Kurakhiv region.

And the third. This week, unfortunately, brought Ukraine brutal Russian attacks on Kharkiv, Donetsk region, Sumy region and Odesa. Zaporozhye Virtually daily drone strikes. Also missile strikes. And every meeting, every negotiation with partners that have appropriate air defense systems is always a conversation about additional protection of Ukraine against Russian terror. Here, in Europe, on the continent, there are still enough air defense systems that can provide Ukraine with truly reliable protection. And this cannot be understood – when the anti-aircraft defense just stands there. It stands idle when each system can save hundreds or even thousands of lives. We will continue to convince our partners.

And now I want to celebrate the Ukrainian rescuers. The entire team of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, which works exactly where there is simply an objective lack of enhanced capabilities for air defense. Zaporizhzhia: Ihor Karyagin, Yuriy Shandor, Oleksandr Lyashenko, Andriy Pavlenko and Oleksiy Sukhorukov deserve special gratitude. Odesa: Ivan Haytyan, Fedir Kaisyn, Vitaly Labutin, Oleksandr Mykytyuk, Serhiy Rudy. Kyiv: Oleksandr Chulyuk, Vladyslav Zazimko, Oleksandr Volynets, Vasyl Chornenky, Vadym Kozhukhivskyi and Vitaly Minkov. I thank you guys, and I want to thank all your colleagues! Thank you to everyone who works for Ukraine, and everyone who fights for our country and our people!

Glory to Ukraine!
