The rescue operations in the places where the Russian missiles were hit have already been completed. Kharkiv – 25 people were injured. S-400 pre-strike. Odesa – 11 people were injured. A preliminary strike by “Iskander”. On civil infrastructure, on ordinary residential buildings. All those affected were given the necessary assistance. And I am grateful to everyone who helps.
We will definitely respond to Russia for everything it does. And it is important that such blows, each of them, do not remain without a proper response, not only ours. There should not be even a hint of the normalization of Russian terror – of getting used to it.
Today there is a new decision by Britain on sanctions against the shadow tanker fleet. Thirty tankers are authorized. This is an important step. And it would be right for European partners – at the level of the entire EU – as well as other partners to support such sanctions. The less Russian excess profits from oil, the less Russia will be able to wage war. This is an obvious connection. A connection that must work for real peace.
Today held a meeting of the Stavka. Different questions. And above all, the protection of our infrastructure, our energy. There were relevant reports, analysis of experience in repelling Russian strikes. The best results of specific units should be spread to all objects, to everyone who carries out protective work. They also discussed the production and supply of drones, missiles, and other weapons. All weapons tasks for this year will definitely be completed. Also for the next one. Chief of Staff Syrsky reported separately – there was a long conversation about all the key parts of the front, as well as about the Kursk operation.
