Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainian women!
Briefly about today.
I just held a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian business – our Ukrainian companies, our regions. Various industries: defense, agricultural, pharmaceuticals, banks. I am grateful to everyone for working in Ukraine, for the sake of Ukraine, and it is very important for us to maintain business support, the normal operation of Ukrainian enterprises, and our jobs in the state. We discussed specific issues that we will definitely resolve. The economic basis is the basis of both social life and our defense.
I held a Stavka today, there was a separate report of the Head of the Syrsky Committee regarding the front. Donetsk directions are the hardest, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Kharkiv region. They do everything in such a way that it is impossible for us to capture the Koreans – they are killing their own people, there are such facts. And the Russians send them to assaults so that they have a minimum of protection. There were reports today about several soldiers from North Korea. Our soldiers managed to capture them. But they were very badly injured, and they could not be resuscitated. This is one of the manifestations of the madness that dictatorships are capable of. The Korean people should not lose their people fighting in Europe. And this can be influenced, in particular, by Korea’s neighbors, in particular China. If China is sincere in its claims that the war should not escalate, appropriate influence on Pyongyang is needed.
Today there is an important decision of the United States of America regarding our region – sanctions against Ivanishvili in Georgia. We call for thisandwhether Ukraine has already applied its sanctions against this de facto ruler of Georgia personally and against his accomplices. We will not tolerate them handing Georgia over to Russia. And it is important to preserve the real independence of Georgia. I thank America for its support. And this should be supported at the level of the whole of Europe – every country, all institutions: we need real sanctions and real pressure on this group of comrades in Tbilisi who like Moscow the most. Let them end up in Moscow.
I had a good conversation today with the President of Argentina, Javier Millay. I noted Javier’s results in economic reforms – he has successes that others in the world can follow. A very good example of economic growth helps everyone. I thanked Argentina for supporting Ukraine – Javier was at the Peace Summit we organized this year. There were a hundred states and international institutions, all parts of the world were represented. And this is exactly how we should move in the future – to involve all partners in putting pressure on Russia and bringing peace closer together. We will increase our cooperation with Argentina – both economic, political, and security.
And one more thing.
Today there was a new format in work within the country – a meeting of representatives of national communities. This is about respect and about politics. Every community with its voice, its informal diplomacy can help all of us, our entire state to join the European Union faster, to achieve results in the negotiations regarding Ukraine’s accession to the EU faster. And I am grateful to everyone who helps in this way. This is a Ukrainian goal that we are implementing. Necessarily.
