The International Chamber of Commerce will contribute to the recovery of Ukraine

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Iryna Mudra met with Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce John Denton and President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine Hennadiy Chyzhikov.

The key topic of the meeting is the possibility of cooperation of the International Chamber of Commerce with the international compensation mechanism, which is being created to fulfill the 7th point of the Peace Formula “Restoration of Justice”.

“The International Chamber of Commerce as a global business organization can contribute to understanding how the private sector can benefit from an international compensation mechanism. Such interaction will make it possible to ensure the recovery of the economy and effective reconstruction,” said Iryna Mudra.

She also emphasized that Ukraine is doing everything necessary for joining the European Union – carrying out reforms to improve the judicial system, investment opportunities and conditions for doing business.

John Denton spoke about possible areas of activity of the International Chamber of Commerce to attract investments to Ukraine, improve the business climate and create effective tools for settling commercial disputes.
