At the end of the week – the week when Russia took another step to expand the war – hit Ukraine with a new missile – it is important for us to celebrate and thank all those who took new steps to support our state, our people, our lives. Ukraine has friends, it has someone to lean on, and thanks to this, it can respond to Russian terror and protect life.
There are new defense packs for this week. Denmark – about a billion kroner, these are funds that will go to our defense industry. Norway has prepared the first tranche, which, according to the Danish model, will support the production of weapons, namely production in Ukraine. Sweden will also join the Danish model of financing. United States of America – there is a package for 275 million dollars, and it is shells for “highmars”, as well as “javelins”, drones and mines, which we really need to defend positions, primarily in Donetsk. There is also a new package from Germany. There is a new “Nasams” from Canada. Thank you for every such step. Sanctions are no less important – this week gave us new United States sanctions against Russia, very effective – against the banking sector. This is what significantly weakens Putin’s system, and this is what is needed more. He has to lose constantly, every week, the ability to finance the war. And no matter how much Russia blackmails everyone it can, it is necessary not to lose determination, it is necessary to put pressure on, and only in this way will real peace become closer.
Today, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs showed news agencies the wreckage of the Russian missile that hit the Dnipro.
