On International Day of Education, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky took part in the First National Talented Youth Forum.
The event brought together more than 400 young Ukrainians and Ukrainian women in the fields of education, science and sports. These include the winners of the International and All -Ukrainian Olympiads, winners of the World Olympiad in Robotics and European Championships in different sports, as well as graduates with the best results of EIT and NMT.
“I am very grateful for being that you are in Ukraine. It is cool to see so many progressive youth in Ukraine. I am very grateful to you because this is the point of what the state is fighting for. For the sake of you, for the sake of all, ”Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
Among the topics discussed during the forum are the future of Ukraine, the role of talented youth in the restoration of the country after the war, the development of promising directions of science and factors that will contribute to the return of Ukrainians from abroad. In particular, the President noted that one of the key conditions is new investments and the implementation of economic projects.
“Nobody will turn no one. It always returns attractiveness, market economy – all this will be one hundred percent after the war. In any case. Because only people can restore. And above all it will be people of Ukraine and many foreign companies that will come to this market, ”the Head of State said.
Volodymyr Zelensky also noted the achievements of talented scientists and presented more than 50 honorary signs of the Presidential Prize for Young Scientists for work in the fields of digital technologies, innovations, physics, chemistry, mechanics, construction, medicine, ecology, history and law.
The forum was also attended by Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovy, Minister of Youth and Sports Matthew Poor, Deputy Head of Presidential Office Olena Kowalskaya, adviser – Presidential Commissioner for President of Ukraine for Education, Science and Sports Olga Budnik, President Vadim, Cultural and educational figures and athletes, including Olympic champion Olga Harlan.
The Forum was organized on the initiative of the Presidential Fund for Education, Science and Sports. From now on, it will be held annually in order not only to support talented youth, but also to motivate it to realize their potential in Ukraine.
