In the fields of the Munich Conference on Security, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
The leaders discussed coordination with the Alliance countries to form a common position on the end of the war and to force Russia to approach a just and prolonged peace. If you do not stop the aggressor state now, it can later be a threat to any of NATO countries.
Separately, the President noted that one of the conditions of end of the war should be reliable security guarantees.
Volodymyr Zelensky also thanked for the unchanged support of Ukraine and noted the importance of meetings in Brussels in Brussels in Ramstein and Ukraine – NATO. Our state expects that all decisions will be implemented as soon as possible.
In addition, the meeting discussed the defensive needs of Ukrainian soldiers, in particular in artillery.
