We are starting our visit to the United States. Now we fly to Pennsylvania. A special visit. Then New York, Washington.
It is this fall that will decide what will happen next in this war. Together with our partners, we can strengthen our positions as necessary for our victory, joint victory – for a truly just peace.
Ukraine will present the Victory Plan to the United States, and the President of America will be the first to see it in full. Of course, I will present the Victory Plan to all the leaders of the partner countries, who, like President Biden, are world leaders and can become leaders of peace by helping us with the Victory Plan. We will also present him in Congress – to both parties – and to both candidates for President of the United States. America has all the sufficient strength to, together with Ukraine, together with our allies and partners, ensure what we desire most. We need peace. Exactly as prescribed by the Peace Formula. Exactly as provided by the UN Charter. We do everything for this.
Arms to protect our independence and our people. Diplomacy to consolidate partners and force Russia to peace. And justice for Russia to be responsible for this war and feel its consequences.
And gratitude – our gratitude to everyone who helps. Thank you to every nation, to all the leaders who felt that in this war between Russia and Ukraine, much more is being decided than the fate of only our Ukrainian people. Thank you to the United States – the supportive leader – and to every nation that has shown its independence and its own leadership to help us protect people and prevent Russia from expanding this war. When Ukraine defends itself, every other democratic nation will benefit.
Right now, what will be the legacy of the current generation of state leaders is being determined. Those who are in the highest offices. In the coming days, there will be meetings with the leaders of the countries of the Global South, G7, Europe, with heads of international organizations – with many who help to consolidate the world. Very important meetings with representatives of the United States. Real peace and a real victory for Ukraine and international law – that’s what we need.
