During his visit to the Dnieper region, the first lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenskaya visited the Lyceum of Kamyansky, where, within the framework of the school food reform, they carried out overhaul of canteens and food blocks.

Modernization was carried out thanks to the state subsidies that the government allocated last year. The funds were distributed equally between the regions. In total, 173 projects were realized.

Elena Zelenskaya stressed that the subsidy is a reliable base to which community can add their own resources and attract foreign donors.

“All our children are entitled to the best conditions for development and growth, and the Russian attack will not hurt this,” the first lady said.

She also reminded that in the fall, Ukraine for the first time adopted the European Conference within the international school food coalition.

“We talked about how we implement school nutrition reform during the country’s defense. It made a great impression on our guests: repairs of dining rooms and kitchens, improving and improving the menu in extreme conditions – something that no one else did in the world, ”Olena Zelenska summed up.
