Andriy Yermak and Jean-Noël Barro discussed the development of bilateral relations in continuation of the dialogue between the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the President of France Emmanuel Macron, in particular, their meeting that took place in December.
Special attention was focused on the importance of European unity for further support of Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression and for the security of the entire European continent.
During the meeting with Emmanuel Bonn, Fabien Mandon, Xavier Chatel and Bertrand Buschwalter, it was about the situation on the battlefield, military aid to Ukraine this year, training of Ukrainian soldiers and other steps necessary to strengthen the positions of our state on the way to establishing a just and lasting peace.
The parties coordinated appropriate steps to develop effective security guarantees for Ukraine. In particular, it was about the initiatives proposed by France itself.
