Briefly about today. The first is a meeting on the military content of our Victory Plan for Ukraine. Worked together with the military command. A good, strong content for the military package has been prepared – exactly what can significantly strengthen Ukraine according to the Victory Plan.
Second, held a meeting regarding our F-16 fleet. Together with the command of the Air Force. There is a clear understanding of the steps to increase the number of combat aircraft in Ukraine and speed up the training of our pilots. All tasks for the Air Force of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine have been determined.
Together with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, they heard today the new work strategies of two government institutions – the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories and the Ministry of Veterans’ Affairs. Deputy Prime Minister Kuleba and Minister Kalmykova together with their teams reported. The strategies are ambitious, but the main thing is that people really feel the results of the work of the ministries and the government in general. Energy and other key issues were discussed separately with Denys Shmyhal.
There were reports on the situation in Sumy and the region. After the Russian strikes on energy facilities, there is a blackout. The city of Sumy, regions of the region. Repair crews are working now. The Coordination Headquarters was created. Today in Ukraine is Savior’s Day. The day of all our people who work exclusively to save the lives of others. Today I thanked the entire team of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, each and every one who helps. He also received state awards. And now I want to personally thank those rescuers who especially distinguished themselves right now, these days. This is Yevhenii Khorunzhy, a rescuer from Kharkiv Oblast, a sergeant, who has been working in the State Emergency Service for five years and is constantly involved in eliminating the consequences of Russian strikes. This is Oleksandr Agudov – a captain of the civil defense service, already 13 years in the Rescue Service, Donetsk region. Volodymyr Morozov – master sergeant, Sumy region. Last night, he participated in the liquidation of the consequences of the Russian attack on Konotop and is always active in protecting people. Andriy Zhitkov – master sergeant, Donetsk region. Works in the most dangerous frontline areas, helps in evacuating people, rescues after strikes. Volodymyr Pyskun – master sergeant, Kherson region. He has been with the State Emergency Service for 14 years, a truly professional person. And the sappers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are Oleg Filippov, Mykola Lintsov and Oleksandr Gumenchak. Effective guys. I thank you and all your colleagues!
