The national team of Ukraine is in group B, where South Korea, Paraguay and Panama will also play.
Ukraine has the right to speak at the tournament by leaving the Euro-2024 U-19 semi-finals, which took place in Northern Ireland. The country will be represented by players not older than 2005, and will be headed by Dmitry Mikhailenko’s team.
The world championship among 20-year-olds will last from September 27 to October 19, the matches will take place in five Chilean cities: Santiago, Valparaiso, Venia Del-Mar, Rancagua and Talka.
In total, 24 teams will take part in the tournament, which are divided into 6 groups of 4 teams. The playoff will be two of the best teams from each group and four of the best of those who will take third places.
The fifth national team will take part in the U-20 World Cup. In 2019, under the direction of Alexander Petrakov, the blue and yellow team became the U-20 World Champion.
