The Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina officially announced that the 25-year-old defender of “Sheffield United” Anel Ahmedhodzic has been permanently suspended from matches for the national team.
The reason for this decision was Ahmedhodzhich’s temporary refusal to play for the national team. He also publicly criticized the team’s doctors, calling their approach to work “frivolous and dilettantish.”
Akhmedhodzhich believes that it was their fault that he suffered a recurrence of the injury in the match of the Euro-2024 team against Luxembourg. The doctors were wrong, they thought that the player was ready for the match.
In total, Ahmedhodzic managed to play 24 matches for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina and scored 1 goal.
