Ukrainian coach Viktor Skrypnyk rated the goalkeepers of the Ukrainian national team:
“When you look at the composition of the national team, you, of course, pay attention to the clubs where the players play. Opposite our goalkeepers are Real Madrid, Benfica and domestic giants. If Lunin plays 30-40% of games in a season for a club like Real, that’s normal.”
“Trubin is the main goalkeeper in Benfica – he plays all the matches. As for “Dynamo” and “Shakhtar”, Bushchan and Ryznyk are very decent goalkeepers for the Ukrainian championship. What better can we wish for?”.
At the group stage of the League of Nations, Anatoly Trubin did not give his competitors a chance and played 6 out of 6 matches in the starting lineup.
