“I am sad because Ruben Amorim left Portugal. Footballers understand his decision. His stay meant a lot to me, because he helped me develop and made me stronger. I am not going to follow him to Manchester United, there are many strikers there. I don’t even think about it.
I’m going to play in Sporting this season, I’m fine here. I will not be in a hurry to leave Portugal anytime soon. When the time comes, then we will see,” Diekeres said.
