On May 19, a large festive event took place at the Hamburg Town Hall. The burgomaster handed the teams to the teams, and thousands of fans gathered to celebrate with the players.
After the official part of the celebration, they continued with the parade along the Alster River, where players and coaches greeted fans from open buses.
This success was made possible by the efforts of Merlin Poltsin’s head coach, a native of Hamburg, who was able to unite the team and return it to the Higher Division.
Hamburg’s return to the Bundesliga was a real holiday for the city and its inhabitants.
