February 5 Ukrainian striker Mykola Kovtalyuk became the author of the only goal of “Botosani” in the away match of the 25th round of the Romanian championship against “Steaua” Bucharest.
Mykola entered the football field only in the 68th minute, when his team lost 0:1.
It took the Ukrainian only four minutes to win the duel after a corner kick and score a goal.
Kovtaluk’s efforts did not bring “Botoshan” a positive result. “Steaua” took the lead again in a few moments and this time kept the advantage – 2:1.
The last time Mykola scored was in October 2025. Now the Ukrainian has 16 matches, five goals and one assist.
