After the final whistle, the coach of the “Eagles” Jose Mourinho remained unsatisfied with the game of his wards due to the unsatisfactory implementation of scoring opportunities.
The experienced Portuguese specialist admitted that he requires football players to score goals and gave the example of the midfielder of the Ukrainian national team, Heorhiy Sudakov.
The 23-year-old Ukrainian moved to Lisbon from Shakhtar Donetsk last August. In the current season, Sudakov played 31 matches in the “Eagles” shirt, in which he scored four goals and provided four assists.
“Benfica” scored 49 points and placed in the third position in the tournament table. In the next match, which will take place on February 13, Mourinho’s wards will play against Santa Clara on the road.
