The contract of a 26-year-old footballer ends in June 2026, so the parties had long and difficult negotiations to continue cooperation. As a result, the Italian refused to sign a new agreement because he was not staged financial conditions.
The situation was also complicated by the potential transfer of the new goalkeeper – PSG agreed with Lille about the transition of the talented Frenchman Luke Chevalier, who will become the new first number in the team.
Donnarumma is dissatisfied with this attitude towards himself and does not intend to sit on a bench for a year, so he is ready to negotiate with the Paris Club on early termination of the contract. The Italian is convinced that he can quickly find a new team to continue his career, where he will satisfy his financial requests.
