In the first confrontation, the silver medalist of the Premier League gave way to the opponent with a score of 0: 2 in the nominally home arena. On the eve, it became known that UEFA punished the guerrilla with a fine due to the poor organization of the previous stage match.
On July 17, the Serbian club met with FC AEK Larnaca and allowed a number of violations – some stairs were blocked at the stadium, fans were lit with torches and various pyrotechnics, as well as throwing different objects on the field.
For this reason, UEFA decided to fine the club for 25 250 euros. According to the Serbian press, the Partisan remained dissatisfied with the punishment.
It is worth noting that in the matches of Alexandria and Partisan it is forbidden to be present for guest fans to avoid fights, conflicts and provocations.
