Girona coach Michel is sure that the only chance to win a trophy with the team is to win the Spanish Cup. On Tuesday, the team will start the tournament with a match against the representative of Tersera Constantia.
“We want to win a trophy, and the Spanish Cup is the most realistic chance. Two years ago, we played against Mallorca in the quarter-finals and then we felt that there was an opportunity to go far.”
“Of course we have a difficult situation in La Liga, but you can progress through matches and the Copa del Rey is a great chance to make yourself and the fans happy with a win,” Michel said.
