Spanish “Valladolid” turned to Zhytomyr “Polesie» – the leadership of the La Liga club planned to rent a Ukrainian football player.
Journalist Igor Burbas reported that the 21-year-old defender Artem Smolyakov could move to the Spanish championship, but the Zhytomyr club refused to consider this offer. “Polesie” is not going to release one of the team’s key players.
Despite the refusal, Valladolid plans to make a second offer, but this time the Spanish club would like to make a full transfer.
This season, Smolyakov played 19 matches for Polesie in all competitions and scored one goal. The defender’s contract is valid until June 30, 2028. Artem is spending the second season in Zhytomyr – he moved to Polesie from Ingulets for 150,000 euros.
Earlier it was reported that the Zhytomyr club had completed the transfer of the Uruguayan forward.
