The Ukrainian goalkeeper won the first trophy in Brazil

Ukrainian goalkeeper Maxim Voronov won the first trophy in Brazil together with Atlético Paranense U-20.

Voronov’s team won the final of the prestigious youth tournament Copa Sul Sub-20 – they beat “Marcilio Diaz” in the sum of two matches (4:1 and 0:0).

The Ukrainian did not play in the final matches, but he defended the goal in five matches of the tournament (including the quarterfinals and semifinals). Maksym kept a clean sheet in three out of five matches.

Voronov is a student of the Metallyst Junior High School. Earlier it was reported that the player can change his citizenship.
