FA Kryvbas received an invitation from the Aspire Academy in Qatar to participate in the training camp of its young players. These are age groups U-13, U-14 and U-15. The football holiday should take place from May 30 to June 4 in the capital of the country – Doha.
The other day, the organizers reported FA “Kryvbas” that Russian teams participated in the training camp in April 2025. Because of this, Kryvbas football club is forced to refuse to participate in the competitions held by Aspire Academy in Qatar.
Everyone knows that for the fourth year the full -scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has been going on. Since February 24, 2022, martial law has been introduced in the territory of Ukraine. This was the reason for the prohibition from FIFA and UEFA teams and clubs of Russia to participate in any international competitions under the auspices of FIFA and UEFA.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine for Ukrainians has prohibited participation in competitions, where Russians and Belarusians perform under their national flag.
Summarizing the above, we inform that the pupils of the Kryvbas football academy in connection with these circumstances will not be able to participate in competitions held by Aspire Academy in Qatar from May 30 to June 4, 2025, ”the club reads.
Earlier it was reported that Kryvbas is interested in the Dutch trainer Patrick Van Leuven.
