Eduard Tsykhmeistruk, Myron Markevich, Vladimir Lysenko and Oleg Shelaev distinguished themselves with the goals scored for the winners, and in addition to them, Yuriy Pankyv, Andrey Polunin, Alexander Kosyrin, Sergey Nazarenko, Ruslan Kostyshin, Andrey Vorobey, Artem Stargorodskyi entered the field as part of the star team. The symbolic first kick on the ball was made by Vitaliy Bylyak. A courageous guy lost his leg a year and a half ago while performing a combat task, and now, going through a difficult stage of rehabilitation, he is actively engaged in social activities. In memory of Vitaly, a T-shirt with players’ autographs was presented to him by the veterans’ team.
The organizers of the match were the All-Ukrainian Sports Association of Veterans of Football of Ukraine, Agrobusiness LLC, the Charitable Fund of the Sobutsky Family, the Ukrainian Football Association and the Lviv State University of Physical Culture.
