Former midfielder of “Real” and the national team of the Netherlands Royston Drenthe was hospitalized with a stroke.
At the moment, Drenthe is receiving proper medical care and is in good hands.
“Royston’s family asks to leave him alone so that we can provide him with qualified help and support,” reports the press service of FC De Rebellen.
The 38-year-old midfielder of Drenthe defended the colors of “cream” from 2007 to 2012. In addition, he managed to play for “Fenord”, “Everton”, “Reading” and other clubs.
Drenthe finished his professional career in 2023 in “Kozakken Boys”, but also played at the amateur level.
