With Botafogo, Che Che became the champion of Brazil this year (this title was already the fourth in his career for the midfielder – he previously won two gold medals with Palmeiras and one with Atlético Mineiro), and also won the Copa Libertadores, but he is now negotiating a transfer to Vasco da Gama.
Che Che’s contract with Botafogo, according to Transfermarkt, runs until the end of 2025, although the Brazilian press says that it expires on December 31, 2024.
This year, Che Che played 28 matches (1,566 minutes) in the Brazilian Serie A and 15 matches (516 minutes) in the Copa Libertadores for Botafogo.
