The ex-champion of Albania explained the secret of their national team’s progress

Ukrainian Sergey Romanyshin became the first domestic player to win the title of champion of Albania as part of Dynamo Tirana in 2002.

In the active role of this extreme defender, he played not only for Stryia “Skala”, Lviv “Karpaty”, Boryspil “Borisfen”, Kremenchug “Kremen”, but also several Albanian clubs: “Vlaznia”, “Besa”, “Shkumbini”, “Skenderbeu” “.

Sergey Romanyshyn, who once played for the youth national team of Ukraine and now lives in Canada, exclusively for Sport.ua made a prediction for the League of Nations match between the teams of Albania and Ukraine:

“I will not be an original when I say that the national team of Albania in recent years is in sight. The current level of the Albanian championship does not compare, and when I had to perform there. Progress is obvious.

As for the national team of Albania, its progress can be explained by the fact that many local football players have become legionnaires and rapidly add to it, protecting the colors of foreign clubs. And the coaching staff of the Albanian national team has a lot to choose from.

A difficult test awaits the Ukrainian national team in Tirana. Moreover, the last matches of Sergei Rebrov’s wards have not been very successful, and therefore they will not be favorites. Nevertheless, thanks to a stronger character, a more equal composition, the Ukrainians should win. The bill? There won’t be many goals – 1:0.”
