The club from Israel does not lose hope of signing Ilya Krupsky

Israeli Club “Maccabi” Haifa does not lose hope to sign the 20-year-old defender of Poltava Vorskla Ilya Krupsky.

According to the information of the Israeli mass media, Krupsky has been in the field of view of the club since April 2024, and now his candidacy has regained relevance.

The key factors for Maccaba’s interest were the performance of the young football player and his participation in the 2024 Olympic Games as part of the Ukrainian U-23 national team. In addition, Maccaba defender Eli Feingold is expected to move to the New England Revolution in MLS, which creates a need for a quality replacement.

However, negotiations between Krupsky and Metallist 1925 are nearing completion. It was reported that the defender should go to the Kharkiv club, and then he will be sent on loan to one of the clubs in Ukraine or Poland.

In the current season, Krupsky played 15 UPL matches for Vorskla and scored one assist.
