At the moment, work on the TV show is in the initial stage. The script plan is not yet ready, just as there are no contracts with specific streaming platforms. In the event of a successful release, Man Utd is guaranteed a payout of several million pounds, with further royalties split between the football club and Lionsgate.
It is reported that the well-known director and screenwriter Jed Mercurio (the creator of the series “Bodyguard” and “On Duty”), who is a long-time fan of United, participated in the execution of this agreement.
