Tete broke the transfer record of ex-players of Shakhtar and Dnipro

Brazilian right winger Aunt became the most expensive acquisition in the history of Brazilian Gremio.

The ex-player of Shakhtar Donetsk transferred from Panathinaikos to the Brazilian team for 6.2 million euros.

An interesting fact is that Gremio’s previous transfer record belonged to two footballers who were acquired from UPL clubs.

In 2012, Gremio bought the Bolivian Marcelo Moreno from Shakhtar for 6 million euros, and in 2014 – for the same amount, the Brazilian Juliano from Dnipro.

The most expensive acquisitions in the history of Gremio:

  • 6.2 million euros – Tete (from Panathinaikos), 2026
  • 6.0 million euros – Marcelo Moreno (from Shakhtar), 2012
  • EUR 6.0 million – Giuliano (from Dnipro), 2014
  • 4.5 million euros – Miller Bolaños (from Emeleka), 2016
  • €4.3 million – Christian Oliveira (from FC Los Angeles), 2025
  • 4.3 million euros – Wagner Leonardo (from Vitoria), 2025
  • 4.0 million euros – Gabi Amato (from Rangers), 2000
  • 4.0 million euros – Franco Cristaldo (from Atletico Huracan), 2023
  • 3.75 million euros – Souza (from Porto), 2013
  • 3.7 million euros – Felipe Carballho (from Nacional), 2023
