– In early summer, the team left her mentor – Vitaliy Ponomarev. He and his coaching staff worked for many years in the club structure. How did you personally perceive this news and how did the club react to such events, did farewells happen?
– I do not want to say that it was a farewell, rather we told each other “goodbye.” Personally, it was a difficult decision for me, because at the club everyone was accustomed to both Vitaliy Ponomarev and his coaching staff. The U-19 team, under the direction of Vitaliy Yurievich, became a junior champion of Ukraine twice, interrupting Shakhtar and Dynamo hegemony, performed in the UEFA Youth League. At the head of the first team, this mentor opened the way to many students of the club Academy and gave them a good result, fighting for the European Cups. For such a young club as “Movement”, it is a very serious trace in our history, which was left by Vitaliy Ponomarev and his coaching staff, and he will be forever in our memory.
We have retained a wonderful relationship and we only want to wish Vitaliy Yurievich and other guys with their new challenge – working in the LNZ. We wish them victories in all matches except the confrontation with the “movement”, of course. I want to thank Vitaliy Ponomarev and his coaching staff for the work they did in the club. At the same time, the “Movement” enabled these specialists to prove themselves at the UPL level. There were different moments, triumph and failure, which was actively spoken in the media, including the possibility of release of Vitaliy Yurievich. However, the club remained true to its strategy and trusted its coaches. Now both the founder and the management of the “movement” with understanding have come to the fact that Vitaliy Ponomarev wanted to get a new challenge and continue to develop, to try himself in other conditions in another place, leaving the comfort zone. Therefore, once again I wish you only success in a new workplace and, most importantly, good health!

– Now “Movement” was headed by Ivan Fedik. Why did the club management opt out of this specialist? Does this testify to the continuation of the vector of confidence in the club structure, because the previous head coach also worked with the “Movement”?
– “Movement” always made it possible to make debut in the UPL to their pupils to manifest themselves at this level, make their mistakes, progress and become professionals. We always believe in our footage. These are the people who have been in the structure of the club for many years, our plans and strategy, how the movement works. The same applies to coaches who have been working in the club for a long time, including Ivan Fedik. He has already worked with the first team of “Movement” and entered a club history, because he was at the head of a collective who gained the right to speak in the UPL. Then the foundation of a modern team was laid, which is now quite successful in the Premier League.
In the previous campaign, under the direction of Ivan Zinonovich, Rukh-2 with young football players showed great results in the Second League. Both senior students of the Academy of 2005-2006 were played and eleven-graders-Alexei Piskun, Dmitry Sebro, Maxim Nanashko, Maxim Pozhanich. These are the boys of 2008, who were able to make their debut at the professional level last year and some even later managed to get caught at the place of “Movement-2”. The team fought for the first league and gained the right to play in transitional matches. This work deserves great respect.
Ivan Fedik has long been working at the club and is familiar with all the players, starting with the first team, and ending with the students of the Academy. He will have no problems with communication even with legionnaires, because Ivan Zinonovich knows many languages and therefore will not have a language barrier to them. From time to time he communicated with the legionnaires, knows their capabilities, so it will also be a plus for both Ivan Zinonovich and for players. Taking into account all these factors, neither the founder, nor the club management was considered other candidates for the position of head coach “Movement” – Ivan Fedyk was immediately a favorite for this place, as soon as Vitaliy Ponomaryov would leave the club.
– What did you talk to Ivan Fedyk? What goals will the club set before him and his coaching staff?
– Perhaps someone expects from the “movement” of the fight for the European Cup, it will predict different places. But for the club, the task is not changing at this time – to develop young players and to lay their way into big football, so that they can develop and progress and have been fighting as possible for the possible places. We want many of our young players to manifest themselves at the level of the Premier League and get a positive result, get to the ranks of youth, youth, and later national teams of Ukraine. This is an important mission for both the coaching staff and the club as a whole. “Movement” has always been famous for his talented young players who are natives of football schools from the whole of the West of Ukraine, and trusted these young men. Ivan Zinonovich understands what tasks are facing him, that he will now work with the youth of our club, and he is ready for this challenge.
– What personnel issues were discussed before the preparation for the new season? Who may leave the movement? What are the positions needed and will the club buy players this summer?
– Changes will be required. Some players will leave the club and we already have preliminary rental arrangements and transfer of specific players. Some will also leave the movement in the status of a free agent. Subsequently, closer to the start of the summer meeting, the club will report everything on its information resources.
Our selection also works for the reinforcement of the team. Scouting department is looking for football players who will fit club requirements. It is about the age of players and the positions that need completion. All this will be solved during the transfer window. I can not specifically voice all the nuances of the club’s transfer policy in this off -season.
– In general, how will the team preparation go? What are the expectations of summer fees?
– “Movement” will hold a summer meeting on the club base. We have almost agreed all details and nuances with potential sparring partners-UPL and First League teams. We will also go to Poland. In particular, in Rzeszow “Movement” will play a friendly match with Stal.
