The legendary goalkeeper of Shakhtar Donetsk Yuriy Wirt reacted to the information that the Georgian defender of the “miners” Irakli Azarov wants to leave the location of the Donetsk club.
“I saw this information, read it. In short, regarding her, with all due respect to Azarov, if he leaves Shakhtar, it will be a small loss,” Wirth said.
In the current season, Irakli played in 11 matches of the Donetsk team (693 minutes). In total, the Georgian defender played 58 games for the “miners”. Azarov’s contract with Shakhtar is valid until June 30, 2028. Transfermarkt estimates the value of the 23-year-old defender at 4 million euros.
