Ronaldo may leave Al-Nasr – a certain amount of concessions in the contract

Portuguese striker “Al-Nasra” Cristiano Ronaldo is considering a move away from Saudi Arabia due to frustration with the club’s current affairs. According to the Record publication, the amount of severance pay for terminating the forward’s contract is 50 million euros.

According to the source, the Portuguese is extremely dissatisfied with the policy of the Sovereign Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF). In 2023, this state structure bought the main shares of the country’s four leading clubs: Al-Nasra, Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahly.

Cristiano is outraged by the passive behavior of his team in the transfer market compared to competitors who are also managed by the fund. In his opinion, the PIF is specifically limiting Al-Nasr’s ability to strengthen the squad in order to deprive the club of a chance for gold. The team is now only one point behind leaders Al Hilal and remains in the championship race.

It is reported that these differences were the reason for Ronaldo’s refusal to participate in the game of the 20th round of the Pro League against Riyadh (1:0).
