A famous Ukrainian coach Vitaly Kvartsyanyi spoke about the Brazilian football player Maikonwho died tragically in 2014.
“Maicon, the kingdom of heaven, died in a car accident. If not for the accident, he could have played at a high level, strong European clubs wanted to sign him,” Kvartsyany said.
Footballer Maikon died in a car accident in Donetsk on February 8, 2014. He was returning home and, trying to overtake a car returning to the gas station, drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided head-on with another car.
Maikon played in Ukraine for “Volyn”, “Shakhtar”, “Zorya” and “Illichivets”.
