– Vitaliy Yurievich, you have devoted many years to “movements”. With your pets you won the U-19 team twice, played in the UEFA Youth League. Then they headed the main team of the club and first kept the registration, and then demonstrated the best results of the “traffic” in UPL. How will you appreciate this period of work? What does these club achievements mean to you?
– Over these five years, the club now has only words of gratitude. First of all, the founder and management, all staff and staff of the club, and, of course, players over the years of fruitful and interesting work. “Movement” gave me a lot and helped me in my formation as a coach. I had a great opportunity to develop and progress as a coach, and work with quality players. So I thank everyone who is involved in the Movement.
These were unforgettable five years of work, during which there were many positive points. These are two junior teams and later a fascinating European Cup struggle. We did all this with a team that consisted of our young pupils and almost all of them – representatives of the western regions of Ukraine. “Movement” by its example showed that it is possible to fight for high goals with your own pets in and without bloated budgets and overwhelming funds.
The club has chosen the right path of development and now you need to follow. Many movement players over these years have become an integral part of Ukraine’s national teams in different age categories, and Alexei Sich became the first representative of the “yellow-black” in the national team, debuting for the country’s main team.
– Under your leadership, the team began to update, there was more game time in the youth, and it was then that a vector of trust in club pupils was chosen. How did you go through this process and are you satisfied with the result of this work?
-I have known many guys since childhood, even from the 3rd grade. I believed in them, knew their opportunities and that they were able to achieve great results and fight for high places at UPL level, despite the rivals. Working with such players is a pleasure.
– The foundation of the current team is the fruits of your work. Will you watch the development of “movement”?
– Of course, I will cheer and watch the team. And I was interested not only in the result of the first team, but also how the U-19 team acts, how the Academy teams act, so it will continue. It is a very large layer of work, which was done by everyone, from the founder of the club, and ending with all the employees of “Movement”. This is a real club, not just the main team. And every player wants to wish them new heights in football.
– What emotions did you have after goodbye to the team? What did you say with the club players and staff?
– I said goodbye to them, talked, we remembered the moments that survived together. It was an interesting path, saturated with different emotions, because we worked together for a long time. It is always difficult to part with, but we are all adults and understand that everyone has our own tasks. This meeting was pleasant and I am grateful to everyone in the cool years of working together.
– What is your word for players and club fans?
– I wish the club continued to develop and went to a new, higher level. In order for every player to continue to progress, because they are all young and promising guys who can achieve high goals in the future and fight for the best results. I also want to wish the students of the Academy so that they continue to study and train. The Movement Academy has talented children who can eventually demonstrate not only the same results that the first team now has, but even the best! I am convinced that these boys are future stars not only of Ukrainian but also world football.
I want to thank the fans for their support. It is very important for football players, coaches, club in general. We want the fans of the Movement to continue to actively cheer for the team, proud of it, and the boys enjoyed people with great results and a bright game.
