Successful completion of the transfer will require an agreement between the three clubs – “Polesie”, “Nekaksa” and “Peñarol”, with which the forward has a temporary employment agreement until June 30.
According to Sport.ua sources, at the moment the management of “Peñarol” is delaying the transfer because they are not quite satisfied with the amount of compensation offered to the Uruguayans for agreeing to early termination of the lease agreement.
It is expected that the parties will still be able to reach an agreement in the coming days, since Peñarol is generally not in a categorical mood, but demonstrates a desire to negotiate.
There is no information about the amount of the potential transfer yet. It is only known that “Polesie” has already agreed on all the details of the 3-year contract with the player himself.
Batista scored 10 goals and 3 assists in 23 official matches during his six months at Peñarola.
