23-year-old Ukrainian goalkeeper of “Benfica” Anatoly Trubin helped his team win the Portuguese League Cup.
“Benfica” won in a series of post-match penalties, where Trubin became the hero, deflecting a decisive eleven-meter shot (main time 1:1, penalty shootout: 7:6).
In social networks, Trubin has already shared a photo with the cup in his hands. In the photo, the Ukrainian goalkeeper, looking happy after a tense match, shows off his well-deserved award.
As a reminder, Anatoly Trubin moved to Benfica from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2023. His debut as part of the Portuguese club took place on September 16 in a match against “Visela”.
Since then, Trubin has established himself as the main goalkeeper of Benfica, and he won the first title in the new team only now.
