Midfielder “Tottenham” Rodrigo Bentancourt received a serious head injury during the semi-final match of the English League Cup against Liverpool. 
The incident occurred after a corner kick, when the Uruguayan football player landed on his head and remained motionless for a long time.
The medical team provided first aid to Bentankur right on the field, after which he was carried out on a stretcher in an oxygen mask. Because of this episode, the match was suspended for about 10 minutes.
At the 15th minute, Rodrigo Bentancourt was replaced by Brennan Johnson, and the game was restored (0:0, first half).
