A bright friendly match was held in Sambir in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the local stadium against the veterans of FC “Sambir”, the national team of Ukraine among veterans of football played. The game account – 3: 1 in favor of the star team of guests.

This fall, the veterans team has visited the Lviv region for the second time – one of the most fragrant regions of Ukraine. Under the guidance of the head of the regional association, Alexander Shevchenko is actively developing football even in wartime: they carry out numerous tournaments, support the veteran movement. By the way, it is the national team of veterans of Lviv region who won the 60+ championship of Ukraine last week, dedicated to the memory of a prominent player and coach Stepan Yurchyshyn.

Before the starting whistle, sincere words of gratitude were heard against the defenders of Ukraine, through which the country holds the line and gives a decent repel of the enemy.

Famous Ukrainian football players came as part of the veterans national team: Myron MarkevichEduard TsiMaest, Sergey Pogorery, Vyacheslav Svidersky, Yuri Maximov, Gennady Medvedev, Vitaliy Samoilov, Sergey Zadorozhny, Andriy Polunin, Ivan Krivosheyenko, Vladimir Lysenko and Konstantin Sakharov. The goals of the owners were scored by Vladimir Lysenko, Vitaliy Samoilov and Yuri Maximov.
