At the end of the first half Ashraf Hakimi at PSG was injured and substituted, while Luis Diaz at Bayern was red-carded for a rough foul.
Sports doctor Dmytro Babelyuk reported whether a fracture was possible and suggested how long Hakimi was out:
“I don’t think that this is a story about a fracture, but definitely about a rupture of the medial group of ligaments and a rupture of the intercalary syndesmosis – the so-called high ankle sprain.
In general, it takes 6 to 8 weeks to recover from such a problem, but players often have problems with the balance of the joint and complications with the cartilage tissue.”
