The 22-year-old defender received non-life-threatening injuries, the club reported.
“Jonathon was one of the victims of the attack on an LNER train bound for London. He was injured, but his life is not in danger. Now he remains in the hospital. We wish him and all the victims a speedy recovery,” the club said in a statement.
Joshe signed a contract with the club in September this year.

32-year-old Anthony Williams appeared in court, charged with ten counts of attempted murder. The cameras recorded him a day before the attack.
It later emerged that he had also attacked a passenger on London’s DLR tube in the early hours of the same Saturday – the victim suffered facial cuts.
Police confirmed that the suspect was detained after using a Taser on the train platform.
