At the same time, new elections for the president of Barcelona have been scheduled – they will be held on March 15. And Laporta intends to run again. He is reported to be the favorite in the election.
At the same time, Laporta, taking into account the financial limitations of the club, does not promise high-profile transfers of star players, but said that he “intends to finish everything that has been started.”
Barcelona has reached the 1/8 finals of the Champions League, and is leading in La Liga, ahead of Real Madrid by one point.
