Despite the large number of rumors about the possible appointment of the head coach of the Ukrainian national team Sergey Rebrovathe Greek club chose another mentor. The “Greens” were led by a well-known Spanish coach Rafael Benitez.
The parties signed a contract for two years.
During his career, Benties coached such famous clubs as “Real” and “Chelsea”, and in 2005 he won the Champions League with “Liverpool”.
Earlier, the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Serhiy Rebrov, responded to rumors of interest from the Greek Panathinaikos.
