OFFICIALLY. The Belgian top club fired the head coach

Belgian “Anderlecht” officially announced the dismissal of 45-year-old Brian Riemer from the post of head coach. He has held this position since December 2022.

The reason for the dismissal was a streak of three matches without a win. At the moment, “Anderlecht” occupies the fourth place in the standings of the Belgian championship.

Davyd Hubert, who previously worked in the youth structure of the club, has been appointed as interim head coach of “Anderlecht”.

For Riemer, working at Anderlecht was the first independent coaching experience in his career.
