Former striker of the national team of Ukraine and Dynamo Kyiv Artem Milevskiy spoke about the former head coach of the capital club Joseph Szabo:

But the point is that the foreigners were also drinking like a rat, but Sabo did not notice this. Maris Verpakovskis, Zhora Peeva, and Yerko Leko sometimes had such a burnout at the base, but they were forgiven. And Aliyev and Sabo called us “drunkards” and “drunkards.” He even hated Belkevich and Shatsky, but loved only foreigners! It’s a shame.
