– Mr. Marino, the restoration of the championship is still quite difficult game for Shakhtar: you win, but the first half was difficult. What conversation happened in the break that the boys came out so tuned and pressed, literally stuffed this goal? Are you satisfied with all the components of the game?
– First of all, we are glad to play matches in the championship, because we had a very long off -season – at this time we also spent two games in the Champions League, where we made well. Now we are glad to start here. As for two halves, I am not satisfied with the first, because I think that our rhythm was too slow, too low to create better opportunities and more moments. Although they had two or three good goals, they were not realized. And I have to say that we did not have proper control over long gears, the first martial arts and the second ball. As a result of this situation, the opponents also created two good points.
– Mr Marino, I congratulate you! How do you think how many percent do you realize your potential and how many matches do you need to take on your optimal fitness?
– I should point out that we had a very good off -season: played wonderful matches, including at the Champions League level, so we have become much better. They could not be seen in the first half, because there was no Sudakov, Marlon Gomez – guys who played a lot before, but other players received their chance. I think we took serious steps about certain things, this is exactly what we could see it in the second half, especially in our positional actions and in how they progressed in the half of the opponent’s field when he plays so low and tries to counter. But, like every team, we have ups and downs, and you have to ensure that your fall is not too low. We need to be stable, and we have succeeded quite well – I think it is well evidenced, in particular, by the second half.
– How will you appreciate Kauan Elias’s debut and his chances in the match? And a few more words about Swedes: what role he will play in the team now, because he spent good fees, and today he had a good game?
– About Swed. Mariana got a well -deserved chance today. He showed himself well in training and in friendly off -season matches. It should also be borne in mind that Zubkov has left the club. The Swede, like Pedrignyo, can play this position. I think he showed a good game, scored an important goal for us and worked honestly on the team.
– In this context, you want to ask how much you are satisfied with the transfer campaign that happened? Are all positions in Shakhtar closed by high -quality, qualified players?
– As I mentioned, this time we have left many experienced players: Stepanenko, Zubkov, Sikan, also Franich, who had enough experience for his age. Young players have come to us – this is our philosophy, it is good. Now we have a very young composition. If we talk about the transfer window, it has not yet closed. In my opinion, one or two football players should be involved. Work continues in this direction. This is a matter of time, but it is obvious that new transfers are needed. It is difficult for us, like other Ukrainian clubs. If we take into account everything we were able to do now within our opportunities and circumstances, we are very good. Although we haven’t finished yet. We strive to strengthen the team even more.
